221. Magpie Oriental

 

we think this is a vagrant to Singapore as it is a large bird and an unlikely candidate for the caged bird trade here.

234. Chinese Pond Heron

Migrant, thanks to the breeding colours, it is easier to differentiate this from the Javan and the Indian pond herons. It is we think, the prettiest of the pond herons.
