Safaris and Ketchup are similar, sometimes you shake the bottle of Ketchup and nothing comes out, you shake and shake and shake and all of a sudden everything pops out.
So donīt stop shaking the bottle, thereīs a lot inside.

We did have 3 sightings in 4 nights, but this was the best photographic opportunity. Apparently the best time for them there is winter, where all the nocturnal creatures come out early (before it gets dark), including pangolins @Game Warden ;)

Okay - here's my plan.  Next time I'm in Kwando ....... If we find an active Aardvark hole, am going to do an after dinner visit and just hang out there for an hour or two - might that work?

A guests photo taken in the Luansanda area of the Kafue National Park last year on one of our Mobile trails. It was super chilled but not the greatest shot!

How the dude and I staked out the aardwolf having already seen them. Did  it work? No...

A couple of the aardvark were so chilled that we just sat down and they carried on feeding, coming to within just a couple of metres!

@bushmaniac I am so jealous that you saw an aardwolf because it has long been on my list of dream animals. It gives me yet more incentive to visit Tswalu, Kalahari camp.
