The Namaqua sandgrouse are beautiful together like that in flight. The wings on that kestrel look so very strong.

@@Panthera Pardus fantastic photos as usual. What are your preferred settings with the 7D + 100-400mm combo, when trying to capture birds in flight?

@@africapurohit - I shoot in Aperture Prioroty Mode mainly but have used Manual Mode sometimes. In the KTP my ISO is 100 mostly sometimes 200. For birds in flight I aim for a shutter speed of 1/1600 or faster.
