best camping place in Chobe?

I promised last year to share the benefits of our research into which campsites at Chobe are the best. Apologies for taking so long to fulfil that promise, but now that we've been I can give our personal perspective. Bear in mind that everyone has his or her favourite, and this depends on many factors - some of which are very personal. Some people will love a particular place for the precise reasons that others loathe it. I take no responsibility if you hate my suggestions!

I would definitely put Ihaha in pole position, if you can get a booking there. You can find out why here: How to choose a campsite at Chobe.

Despite some negative comments on this forum, my second place (or first for those who are too scared to camp in the Ihaha wilderness and possibly come face to face with wild animals!) would be to go to Toro Safari Lodge. See 8 reasons to camp at Chobe's Toro Safari Lodge to find out why.
