Bush Bog

Found in 2005 in the Maasai Mara, close to the river and "shot" with a Canon Powershot.

B is for bed, in our own multi-starred accommodation (we sniff at merely 5).

post-17725-0-09211000-1356928904.jpg

Nope - the camp is not just behind the camera. It's like this all the way around. The next bed to us was perhaps 50-100m away. This was set up far outside of camp, totally out in the open, away from anything at all - except the blanket of stars. We had been brought here after sunset and in darkness for dinner. Sleeping in a warm bed out in the open had been totally unexpected. Before breakfast the following morning, we just had to re-make the bed and set this whole thing up for some shots. It looks and feels a little surreal. It was an amazing experience.

It's obvious. She drew the short straw and had sentry duty of course

Actually, (and again I have to trust the guide on this) this is an even younger Blacksmith!

(Maybe this one fits better under "E" - unless it's served with bacon (ehm, sorry).)
