Jochen, I'm only as far as Argentina and am loving the report. The Pantanal always sounds inviting, but who knows whether I'll ever get there.

 

A glance across the rest of the photos (which I'll look at more closely when I continue reading) confirms that you have an excellent collection. Thanks for posting this, and yes, we like any wildlife related trip report here!

I distinctly remember your Giant Anteater encounter from when I read this previously. The Pantanal is enjoying quite a presence on here.

A very late reply for this - but I have just come across it as we are planning a trip to Pantanal and possibly the falls (not the Amazon!)
