Aepyceros melampus  Male

~ Photographed with a Canon EOS 1D X camera mounted with an EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II super-telephoto lens, hand-held, Manual shooting mode.

Nairobi National Park, Kenya on 28 July, 2015 at 8:38 am, ISO 2500, f/2.8, 1/8000 sec.

This impala male remained still when the vehicle paused near him and his herd on a cool, overcast morning.

There had been a moderate drizzle when we ventured out, which is why the impala's coat is damp.
