What is Safaritalk?

Safaritalk is an online African forum which emphasises wildlife / habitat conservation and cultural issues. It is non commercial, non profit making and does not sell anything nor promote any service. It has no commercial backing and features no advertisements. It is a project developed solely to publicise and promote issues in Africa: eventually I hope that as a vehicle for raising awareness and publicising African conservation groups and cultural initiatives, in time Safaritalk will become a viable source for Africa based news, articles and discussion. It is something in which we can all play a part, through the internet finding a voice: a lot of nobodies eventually making one big somebody, and that combined voice being heard.

Secondly Safaritalk is an online community dedicated to the sharing of information by like minded travellers with a passion for Africa and safari. Although primarily in English we welcome and encourage posters from around the world and hope that despite any language difficulties that may be encountered each of you wll feel at home here - when not in Africa or on safari then this is the second best place to be. Safaritalk is not a commercial concern - it has no company affiliations - you will not see any banner advertising placed within the site unless it is to promote a charitable/conservation cause within Africa. Likewise Safaritalk makes no recommendations for any other party, any such recommendations which may be found within Safaritalk are the responsibility of the poster them self, not the forum. Remember when planning a trip - it pays to research the market place first and find who is right for you.

"Return to old watering holes for more than water; friends and dreams are there to meet you." - African proverb.
