Like that Bill949!

You need to go to the "options" button for the individual picture (not the gallery) and then copy the address to paste into the "Image" box. There are better instructions in Gam Warden's signature, but as you got so close I guess you are probably only doing one small step wrong!

Great scene, but that's just not fair! :P

Welcome to Safaritalk.

Great shot Tyrone. Is this the group of 3 that I saw with you in September 2011 on the edge of the Kafue plains?

Wow! Were those stills or video captures?

Yep, the same 3, however this year they are super chilled! I hope they stay around a little longer as like last season they tend to roam rather large distances...

Here's a couple cheetah shots; taken mid-August 2012 in Masai Mara. This is my first try at posting photos so hopefully it'll work.

TsavoTheLion, I copied http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7253/7835345004_43cd8b6589.jpg from your second link, clicked on the image icon in the "Reply to this topic" box menu and pasted it into the Image properties pop up box.

This is one of my own favourites, for its simplicity, taken a couple of years ago in the Masai Mara. Her name is Shakira.

Some nice images added here in the meantime since my last visit!!

The key is always the light - too late in the morning or too early in the afternoon or overcast and you lose the amber in the eyes!

Since I'm spending some time posting photos in the elephant gallery, how about some more cheetah images - again from the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Let me know if you can't see these!!

Some more (might I add that all of these are from a SINGLE trip last year - that shows you how productive the cheetah viewing is in KTP)!

Morkel, love to go to the KTP one day. Do you run any private safaris?

I couldnt resist posting a pic of the famed "Mother Africa" - a mother cheetah who successfully raised the 6 cubs in her litter to maturity. Her territory became bigger and bigger as she needed to move to keep the youngsters fed and away from potential hazards. The lighting on this pic is far from good, but at least it captures the happy family!

Tim, I just edited the above, you need to have click on the image itself which then expands and copy the Image URL and paste into the post, rather than linking to the page.

Matt.
