Image copyright issues and Safaritalk

1 post in this topic

Please be aware of photographic copyright when posting - when using images to illustrate articles or postings that are not your own, please before using obtain the copyright holders expressed written permission to publish their images and when doing so provide full accreditation to said person.

If a member posts an image which obviously isn't theirs and has been copied and pasted from another website, their post will be edited and the said image deleted with a follow up note to that member.

* Exception: if quoting an image from a previous post on Safaritalk, (please include the member's name with the quoted image), or highlighting an image from a member's gallery, (again, including the member's name and a link to that gallery.)

Safaritalk takes photographic copyright very seriously and I always strive to protect a photographer's intellectual property.

This also applies to your personal avatar image - if you are having problems in creating your own avatar please click here:

Note if having problems in creating your avatar image, please contact me and I can help you with it. Again before editing any image that is not your own please obtain permission from the copyright holder before doing so.
