Wildlife royalties: A future for conservation

2 posts in this topic

Posted (edited)

here is an open access article from some of the Oxford team at wildcru

the suggestion is that  those who use wild animals for commercial purposes should pay to do so

think sporting mascots ,companies and products

thewy are UK writers and have better knowledge there , the suggestion think lions  Olympic team GB, Lyels golden syrup ,British lion quality eggs and Premier league football

think of all the masses of leopard print clothing fabrics

I think this is a great idea, wildlife is being used to powerful effect for marketing but paying nothing in return

another example is that Tusker beer to make a good contribution to help out in Kenya

for the open access article please see  http://www.mdpi.com/2076-2615/7/7/52

Wouldn't it be wonderful if only the tiniest percentage of these billions went into wildlife conservation? It would pay enormously more than big game hunting.
