And that concludes 2017!

Just for interest, there are 11 more species of which I have only EBC shots, but which I will not be claiming. I am amazed that the percentage of EBC's is so low.

Well done @Peter Connan

An excellent selection to finish your Big Year (and to go racing past me!)

Superb photos throughout - I have really enjoyed your thread and look forward to your 2018 postings.

Congratulations, Peter, an excellent collection. High quality shots throughout, kudos! Looking forward to your next BY, with Bots coming up you must get quite a few in addition to your locals from SA!

What I know for sure is that I will benefit immensely by birding shoulder to shoulder for 10days with you, Peter!

Congratulations Peter. A good finish.

Is not your #232 Bushveld Pipit, a Spotted Flycatcher in reality?

Thanks @Galana, I think you are correct. No change to the count though, as I hadn't had one before.

@Peter ConnanSorry Peter, missed this. When I said down your way I meant South Africa. I'll be in Cape Town for a week but I think you are in Jo'berg?
