Kind of last minute but wanted to let anyone who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area know about this all day Expo which I will be attending tomorrow.  Speakers include:

Dr. Laurie Marker

Dr. Claudio Sillero from the Ethiopian Wolf Conservation Program

Peter Blinston of Painted Dog Conservation

and several other non-African wildlife conservation organizations - including one about Spectacled Bears in Peru which sounds very interesting to me. More info below - tickets are $50 and will be sold at the door.

If anyone else from Safaritalk is interested in going, I'd love to meet up! Let me know. Otherwise, I will report back after the event.

Change of plans: woke up feeling not well enough to go (1.5 hours drive each way) but the good news is they are supposed to be showing the speeches on their Facebook Live feed so anyone can watch them!  If you want to watch, they say they will be live streaming from their Facebook page here shalf an hour)tarting at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (in half an hour).

And it seems they put up speeches on youtube after last year's event as well.
