London to Kigali direct flights

It would seem the thrill of the Gorilla trek is about to get that little bit easier to enjoy from the UK as Rwandair have announced a direct flight from London Gatwick to Kigali, three times a week from May. Fares for a little Friday to Tues sojourn in August look to be £634 econ, £1004 PE and £1405 business. At an 8.5hrs direct flight suddenly a long weekend Gorilla trekking could be a reality for any UK based Safaritalkers.

Add on that extra skip to Harare and suddenly a dream Safari could now be minus a long schlep through JNB. I wish I'd seen this before I booked my flights to Zim!

Yes, we are somewhat spoilt for choice 😊although not as much as in the past when we could fly direct to a wide range of east and southern African cities direct.
