Recently joined Safaritalk and am a very keen (or eager) photographer.

I live in the UK and retired from full time work in late 2015, allowing me the time to travel and take photos. I completed 8 weeks of African Safari in 2016 and just returned from my 3rd trip to the Masai Mara. I plan to complete at least 2 other African safaris this year and a few others in Europe/USA.

My view point is of a old white guy from London who is getting to grips as fast as he can with taking shots in African parks. My recent shots are much better than earlier and I am starting to get to know the Masai Mara NR a lot better now I have spent almost 6 weeks in it, with great guides and drivers.

I have added some photos to a few forum posts - but don't yet know how to add galleries etc. - I am sure this will change in time. However, if you are interested please visit one of my albums on flickr like - Some of my best from March 2017 Masai Mara or my website

Welcome to the forum. I look forward to seeing your pics! :)
If an experience is amazing enough to be "once in a lifetime," I want to do it every year.
Alex: "Whoa! Hold up there a second, fuzzbucket. You mean like, uh, the live in a mud hut wipe yourself with a leaf type wild?"
King Julian: “Who wipes?”
