The Lilac-backed Starling is an amazing capture, superb bird and how I wish I'd seen one closer than about 100m away.

Thanks, @Dave Williams. My luck with them has certainly changed for the better. I always used to see them from a huge distance, but I had one basically right next to my head at Sandai last December, and this one also was incredibly patient with me.

@michael-ibk - fantastic collection! I've also run out my "likes" but can you comfortably assume that I liked them all

I am only up to No. 235 - wonderful sightings and beuatiful photos. The Abyssinian Roller is a stunning bird and I really like the Double-Toothed Barbet.

Thank you, @lmSA84 and @TonyQ! :) The Barbet was one of my favourite sightings of the trip, it really is a spectacular bird.

317/ET240.) Little Weaver (Ploceus luteolus) / Zwergweber

Doho Lodge. This one, however, is not a common bird on safari circuits, it´s more of a Central and Western african bird. Seen it once before at Lake Baringo, and now and then only in an ebc-way.

321/ET244.) Yellow Bishop (Euplectes capensis) / Samtweber

Very common in Guassa, but they are not easy to get - small and fast-moving birds. Fortunately one took a bit of mercy on me.

324/ET247.) African Firefinch (Lagonosticta rubricata) / Dunkelamarant.

Awash NP. Reasonably (but not completely) sure about this one and the ebc-photo does not help - but the bill does not seem to be red, and the tail is blackish.
