this is the first study of its type

 

it looks interesting

 

  • the main purpose of hunting is for meat,medicine,ornamental use and the pet trade
  • the heavily hunted animals have ranges  mainly outside protected areas
  • the main animals affected by hunting are also under pressure from habitat detorotiation,  expansion of agriculture, livestock and human settlement
