Thanks for posting this @armchair bushman - good to know a conservation action plan for the greater Mara ecosystem has been developed.  I was also  interested to learn about the proposed conservancies and the conservancies in formation. 

 

And I was very relieved to see (pages 10-11) the strong emphasis on getting illegal grazing in the reserve under control, as well as finding new areas to set aside for livestock rangeland, to take some of the pressure off wildlife.

 

Lots of good content in that publication, I look forward to reading more.
