under sth African rules a maximum of 25% of an airline may be foreign owned

in the case of Comair and kulula this may have been exceeded

please see http://www.bdlive.co.za

11 may COMAIR FLIGHTRS THREAT TO GROUND IT

the air services licensing council wants to suspend their operations

the operators are seeking an urgent court order is being sought to prevent it

perhaps the rules should be changed , grounding the airlines would do a whole lot of damage to tourism and the economy

fortunately mango airlines are 100% sth African owned
