113. - Bufflehead (22-3) This was a day trip to see some vagrants and this was the second lifer of the day.

Great to see your local birds in addition to the Sri Lanka ones. Really beautiful shots - I particularly like the Coot running across the water - captured so well. The Short-eared Owl ia a beauty!

Sure, I could add dates from now on. Why would that be of interest?

Because it is a "big year" so all photos have to be from 2016.....

I do know that, but do I sense some doubts? My trip to Sri Lanka was from 23rd January till 12th February this year and the first 'local' posted was from 8-1-2016. Others have been added in chronological order. I do notice that some others (@@Peter Connan, @@Soukous, @ michael-ibk .......) did not add dates to their posts an I never gave it a thought, really.

I'm not bothered at all! I just have to read the rules more carefully myself As you may have seen I have bettered my life with that last posts.
