Great to see your local birds in addition to the Sri Lanka ones. Really beautiful shots - I particularly like the Coot running across the water - captured so well. The Short-eared Owl ia a beauty!

(And up to 113 already....)

nice - can you put the dates on?

Sure, I could add dates from now on. Why would that be of interest?

Because it is a "big year" so all photos have to be from 2016.....

I do know that, but do I sense some doubts? My trip to Sri Lanka was from 23rd January till 12th February this year and the first 'local' posted was from 8-1-2016. Others have been added in chronological order. I do notice that some others (@@Peter Connan, @@Soukous, @ michael-ibk .......) did not add dates to their posts an I never gave it a thought, really.

Beautiful photos again @@PeterHG.

I do post (approximate) dates, but you have to read carefully to find them. If that bothers anyone, please let me know? \

However, for me it's interesting WRT migration habbits?

I'm not bothered at all! I just have to read the rules more carefully myself :) As you may have seen I have bettered my life with that last posts.
