Business day has reported likely fuel price increases effective from 1 April based on automobile association projections

 

• for petrol 31 to 35 cents per liter
• for diesel 60 cents

these are due to commodity price increases on world markets and Rand exchange rates movements

 

in each case add the 30 cent per liter increase in the fuel levy

The institute of race relations predicts a price rise of at least 10 cents above the auto association estimate
