@@Treepol, that is a beautiful photo of the Brown Falcon. I have a canvas print of a Brown Falcon (Dark morph as opposed to your Pale morph) which I took on our last trip to Tassie, beautiful bird. I love raptors so your Fiji Goshawk strikes me as a beauty too, and the Red Shining Parrot is a stunner. Id never considered Fiji as a good spot for birds, the things you learn on Safaritalk.

@@elefromoz thanks for your kind words.

Fiji has some great birds, however post-cyclone the weather was grey and the birds were more difficult to find. Oh well, I'll just have to go back when the weather and the light is better.

@@Geoff, the Orange Dove was seen on the Tunuloa Peninsula on Vanua Levu.

Bobby's Farm was hard hit by Cyclone Winston and there is some damage t the house, some trees are down and the place is closed until the birds return. I heard that a few are slowly making their way back, but there is a way to go before the farm is back to usual.

Just back from a weekend break at Inala on beautiful Bruny Island where the birding was especially good.

Wow, stunning photos of the Wedge-Tailed Eagle. The Robin looks very similar to ours, just with different colours.

Lovely photos - clearly a good place for birding. The Grey Goshawk (White morph) is stunning - and another vote for the Wedge-tailed Eagle!

@@Treepol, Bruny looks like a great spot for a future visit, especially like the Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo photo. Another vote for the Wedgie, magnificent.

@@elefromoz the Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos are one of my favourite birds - I was walking Mum's dog along the river in Devonport this morning and and 3 flew over, making their distinctive screech.

When I turned around there were 6 galahs feeding on the grass, great parrot sightings and a wonderful combination of colours in a matter of seconds.
