~ This article from the Daily Nation in Nairobi tells about the exceptionally high level of avian biodiversity in the Arabuko Sokoke Forest, located in coastal Kilifi County, near Malindi.

Within the three distinct forest zones are numerous bird species, as well as buffalo, duikers, sengi and over 150 elephant.

Arabuko Sokoke Forest is definitely on my list of places to visit on my next Kenya trip, along with the Kakamega forest.

I'm glad that you noticed this post.

I thought of you when it was uploaded.

With your birding skills and a qualified, dedicated birding guide, I'm certain you'd observe a wealth of species.

Whether or not you'd be prone on the soil surface, camera in hands, is anyone's guess!
