India's coal-fueled economy taking a toll on environment and rural villagers

I was sorry to learn of the rampant flouting of India's environmental laws by its power industry, as well as the USA's hypocritical culpability in funding dirty coal-fired power plants (while talking such a good game about curbing climate change and moving to clean power).

Another valuable link.

As conservation news of this sort seldom, if ever, is published where I live, your thoughtfulness in making it available is appreciated.

Enforcement with regard to coal-powered energy is a grave issue, not least in this part of the globe.

Thank you.
