1506 Peregrine Falcons in 1 Day Count New World Record

This past Saturday, a Hawk Watch station (at Curry Hammock State Park) in the Florida Keys set the world record for number of Peregrine Falcons counted in a single day.  Their count was an incredible 1,506 Peregrines.


It is wonderful to see the population of this once critically endangered raptor continue to expand.
