Western Australia, Wildlife and Wildflowers trip

3 posts in this topic

So the camper is all packed up, tomorrow we head off north through the Pilbara, across to the coast and south back home to Perth. Our trip will cover about 4000km over nearly 3 wks. Im hoping to see a good variety of birds, (wishing for the Wedgetail Eagle), and animals ( any of our Marsupials) and sea life (whales, whale-sharks, dugongs, dolphins). Its Wildflower time now too, and reports of a bumper season. Throw in some spectacular gorges, waterfalls, outback scenery and hopefully it'll be a good trip.

That sounds like a delightful journey!

Ever since reading about various endemic small reptiles and assorted butterflies found in the Pilbara, I've been interested in it.

With your facility for preparing enjoyable trip reports, Safaritalk may someday see a few such beauties.

Please do have a relaxing, stimulating and utterly enjoyable trip!
