This article from Yahoo News includes photographs of the seldom seen Nightjar eggs and a hatchling near Hennock reservoir in Dartmoor, U.K..


The sighting and photographs were by U.K. police officer Joshua Marshall, a member of the British Trust for Ornithology.


Nightjars migrate from Africa to nest in Britain during the Summer, with an RSPB estimate of less than 5,000 breeding pairs.
