@@lmonmm There are many more operators in Botswana aside from Wilderness Safaris that offer both excellent wildlife and no single supplements. You have to travel outside the high season (usually December to March as the green season and April to June and November as the Shoulder season) and their rates are much better than Wilderness as a starting point. Companies that offer this (this is not exhaustive) are:

Kwando Safaris (no single supplement from 15th Nov to 31st March during their 5 rivers special)

African Bush Camps (no single supplement in the shoulder and green season and special rates in the green season, they also have 6+ night long stay discounts and 9+ nights long stay discounts) Zimbabwe & Botswana

Desert & Delta Safaris (no single supplement in shoulder and green season)

Ker & Downey Botswana (no single supplement in shoulder and green season)

Bushways - Chobe Elephant Camp and Sango Safari Lodge (both no single supplement in shoulder and green season)

Under One Botswana Sky (no single supplement in green season only)

Muchenje Safari Lodge - no single supplements in the green season only

Great Plains - in shoulder and green season

I hope this helps.

Hello there!

Some other camps/lodges off the top of my head that don't charge a Single Supplement:

Sabi Sabi offers no single supplement up to a max of 2 suites booked. Excludes holiday period, their villas and Presidential Suite though. http://www.sabisabi.com/

Seasons in Africa lodges (Leopard Hills and Kings Camp, just to name a few) do not charge a Single Supplement. http://www.seasonsinafrica.com/

Exeter River Lodge and Leadwood are now owned by Dulini. They are no longer part of the AndBeyond portfolio and they do in fact now have a Single Supplement in place at these two lodges.

Happy to help!

~ Both stays in Leopard Hills, 2015 and 2016, were without any single supplement.

The level of service, comfort and attention to detail was such that the value exceeded the modest tariff.

Tuningi Lodge in the Madikwe (another Seasons in Africa property) has no single supplement for the first room in a booking. However if you try and book 2 single rooms directly via their website however it does not add a supplement. The supplement is imposed however if you book via travel agent.

Slightly irritaing that having chosen to book via the TA and ensuring Tuningi were advised by the TA this has not been corrected.

Trip report will follow after my return next week - enouraged by @Tom Kellies endorsement of the Seasons property in Sabi Sands.

Bushcamp Company, South Luangwa, Zambia. I stayed with them in September 2014. They had no single supplement.

Robin Pope Safaris, South Luangwa, Zambia. They did not have a single supplement as well.
