Live or die - mute swans in battle

Came across these two mute swans engaged in a lengthy battle. Unfortunatly I didn´t have my videocamera on board. After some five minutes I realised that I could videograph the fight with my iPhone - so you have to do with the crappy quality ...

 

They fought for about 15 minutes, and I feared that one of them would be drowned and killed. However that didn´t happen - watch the happy (?) ending ...

We don't tend to think of battle to the death with swans. Some of the mating looked like it bordered on attempted drowning. It is all so un-Disney-like. Quite a sighting!
