16 days...... tick tock

Super!!! Where are you off to?

Kenya in the (hopefully not too much) rain again ....... Naboisho and Meru

First good rains in Meru a few days ago. I am reading of heavy rains in the Mara at the moment. Hopefully you will get a dry spell!

I like it the one disavantage is that the transfers are less frequent ,but it is a bit smaller and more personal than some others, and very fortunately is on a slightly different allignment so you don't get any airport higway or runway noise. it is actually closer than emperor's or protea to the airport but quieter.

4 days ...... Hoping for that dry spell - or at least visibility and negotiable roads. I have every confidence the weather is going to cooperate without denying the country some much-needed rain. And I won't count 3-2-1, so just in case this my last post.... see you all later in December.

Just booked 9 nights in the Kruger for end of Jan (22-31). Decided against Ta Shebube in KTP as they "withdrew" their late booking offer. So I have just spent the difference in price on a 5D mark iii ;)

I've been to Little Kwara, Lebala, and Lagoon Camp twice. Please have a wonderful safari. I remember Hobbs well from when I stayed at Little Kwara three years ago. He's an awesome guide, and far more important he's a fine man. I'll never forget when I took the boat trip at Liittle Kwara in July of 2011, and Hobbs explained the ecology of the Delta, it was awesome.

I send you my warmest regards,Owen
