White-eared barbet (Stactolaema leucotis)

The white-eared barbet Stactolaema leucotis is an eastern forest species found from Kenya down the east coast as far as South Africa. This bird was photographed in the forest on the slopes of Ngurduto Crater in Arusha National Park in Tanzania which is about as far west as this species gets.
