Hari, it's indeed the same cub that you saw with Doctor.

I'm posting pictures of the mother, in 2006 and in 2009, on "Show us your leopards". When I came back in 2011, they told me that, in the meanwhile, it was dead.

It won't be long before these young Barn Swallows leave the nest. It's already looking a bit crowded

Young Oryx

Photographed at 5:35 pm on 1 October, 2014 in Samburu National Reserve, Kenya, using an EOS 1D X camera and an EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II super-telephoto lens.

ISO 100, 1/2000 sec., f/3.2, 400mm focal length, handheld Manual exposure.

****************************************************************************************************

My limited safari experience had never brought me face-to-face with a young oryx before. Accordingly, I was particularly interested in oryx, who calmly looked towards us.

It wasn't feeding much at the time, unlike the older oryx nearby. The long legs were especially impressive, in relation to its body.
