A few photographs of RTR tigers over the years from my side. Please pardon the picture quality as I am not very good with handling cameras.

Hello All,

This is my first post and thanks to Hari, @@madaboutcheetah for introducing me to SafariTalk. Hope to be active on this forum and contribute to the discussions.

Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve never lets me down. This is a day I will never forget. First time in my life have been able to see and capture such small cubs. They are just above 3 months.

This is one of the 3 cubs of the Sukhi Patiya Tigress of the Magdhi Zone. Each of them came and posed one at a time beside it's mother and was able to photograph all of them.

We first saw all 3 running across the road and we could hardly get any image. But then she walked on the road with the 3 cubs which was captured by my other friends and later we joined them...The Tigress was sitting on the road and the cubs inside the bushes. And then the magic happened. Each cub came and posed with their mother for me to capture!

What a day! Thank you Bandhavgarh! May their tribe increase.

Regards,

Sudhir

~ @IamFisheye:

This image was taken while riding on the back of an elephant?

Such clarity!

Your camera gear may have been pushed to the limit, but your steady hands and skills resulted in a fine image.

When I saw it, I smiled.

Thank you for sharing it on Safaritalk.

This is Maya (P2) in Tadoba National Park, Maharastra. She's a two year old female who appeared on my very first safari drive in India. As you can see, she was well fed and wasn't interested in the Chital - who are clearly having conniptions as she walks past the herd.

We had insane time in March 2014. We had 10 sightings in 5 days in Kanha and Bandhavgarh. Several of the sightings were all by ourselves, which is rare for India as many of you might know. It was a fascinating time.

What a fine portrait.

The bent front leg, lowered overall posture, the solid profile — it's evocative.

The lighting highlights the setting and situation.

Although I've never visited India, this image captures what I've imagined.

Thank you for posting it.
