  1. Ixos mcclellandii ~ Photographed on the Vernal Equinox, 21 March, 2017, at 11:50 am, outside of the south-facing front entrance of Teaching Building #101 on an overcast morning. 1/800 sec., f/2, ISO 200, in a handheld Manual exposure, with an EOS 1D X camera and a Zeiss Apo-Sonnar T* 135mm f/2 ZE manual focus telephoto lens. *********************************************************************** ~ This Ixos mcclellandii, Mountain Bulbul, was photographed feeding in a large blooming quince bush outside of the front door of Teaching Building #101 at the verdant North Campus of Shaanxi University of Technology. Passing students were unaware of or indifferent to its presence, such that it fed in relative peace, aside from the intrusive presence of a photographer and lens.
